When delivery time is not an important factor for a client, Aerospace Logistics Group members offer Full Container Load (FCL) and Less than Container Load (LCL) ocean shipping services for efficient and economic outcomes.
On the export side, our members coordinate the booking, container loading, consolidation (for LCL shipments) and the transportation of the container from your location to the designated port of loading. On the import side, we handle the customs clearance, deconsolidation (for LCL shipments), and the final delivery of the goods to the customer. Whether your shipment is Door-to-Door or some other arrangement with your client, ALG members are at your service to handle your important sea freight shipment.
Sea freight involves a substantial amount of paperwork, including bills of lading, commercial invoices, packing lists, and certificates of origin. Our members are experienced in managing the documentation requirements and we ensure that all necessary paperwork is prepared accurately and submitted on time. Our members provide guidance and assistance in completing the required documents to meet legal and regulatory requirements.
ALG members can also arrange cargo insurance on your behalf to protect their goods against loss or damage during transit. They work with insurance providers to secure appropriate coverage based on the nature and value of the cargo.
